Join CREWBaltimore for a behind-the-scenes look at the exciting new Red Panda Habitat at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. This special event offers members and guests the opportunity to learn about the vision, design, and future development plans shaping the Zoo’s historic Main Valley.
The afternoon will begin at the Mansion House, where attendees will enjoy a panel discussion featuring members of the project team who helped bring the Red Panda exhibit to life. Panelists will also discuss the Zoo’s broader Master Development Plan, which is guiding improvements and new habitats across the campus as the Zoo celebrates its 150th anniversary.
Following the discussion, guests will participate in a guided tour of the new Red Panda exhibit, offering a closer look at the design, planning, and conservation considerations behind this exciting addition to the Zoo. The new habitat introduces red pandas to the Zoo for the first time and is part of a larger initiative to revitalize the historic Main Valley area.
After the tour, attendees are invited to network with fellow industry professionals while enjoying light refreshments and appetizers.
To make the afternoon even more memorable, the group will also be joined by a special surprise visitor from the Zoo.
