Mandy Remmell

Director of Community Engagement, Baltimore County

Mandy Remmell is the director of Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski’s Office of Community Engagement, where she leads a team in building relationships with residents and communities and supporting the County Executive’s commitment to building a more transparent, open and accountable government.

Prior to joining the Olszewski administration in 2020, Mandy served as an outreach program manager for the Maryland Department of Transportation’s Maryland Highway Safety Office, where she led the department’s outreach programs and statewide safety messaging initiatives, and worked as a special projects coordinator at the University of Maryland Medical Center’s R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

Mandy has a passion and dedication for serving those in need and strengthening communities through education, empowerment and engagement. When she is not working, she spends time with her teenage son and husband, attending and instructing yoga classes, and makes time to serve her community through volunteer work, notably with the Lupus Foundation of America.
